Karm El Ariss Public Park

Located in the heart of the city of Beirut, the rehabilitation of the Basta public park focused on transforming this neglected park into inclusive, accessible and child friendly space. CTI was awarded this fast track project which included the removal of damaged plastic play-items replaced by steel hexagon shaped towers fabricated and assembled on site. The towers are then cladded with natural wood, and include in-house fabricated play items such as stainless steel slides, nest swings, speaking pipes, music rollers and climbing nets. The design ensured full accessibility to the park from entrance to different upper levels; for that two ramps were constructed for the circulation of wheelchair users.
